Distance Learning: Navajo Code Talkers
This program recognizes the first 29 Navajo men who developed a code to send and receive messages quickly, accurately, and securely. These Navajo men, selected by Marine Corps leadership, used their unique and complex native language to formulate this unbreakable code that was used to communicate successfully in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
