Distance Learning: Animals in the Military (Grades 2-5)
This program celebrates working military animals by exploring how various animals have been instrumental in global engagements throughout history. Animals such as Sergeant Stubby, who helped save Marines in WWI and Sergeant Reckless, the brave horse who served in the Korean War. We invite you to join us on this journey through gallery spaces in The National Museum of the Marine Corps as we appreciate and learn about working military animals of the past and present.
