Home School Science at the Museum
Home School Science is a self-paced, hands-on program for students to learn about Marines and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.) Curriculum will be available for all grade levels, all ages are welcome!
This program is free and open to the public.
April 3-4: Simple Machines
June 6: 100th Anniversary of Belleau Wood
August 28-29: Hydraulics and the Power of Water
October 2-3: Environmental Science
December 4-5: Things that Go VROOM: Rockets, Jets, and other Fast Vehicles

Chesty's Museum Explorers Presents: Preschool Playdate
Join us every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 10:00 am to 11:30 am for Preschool Playdate! Children under 5 are encouraged to engage with stories and activities specially catered to preschoolers. Each playdate will offer pint size fun and introduce early literacy skills, vocabulary building and encourage social interaction.

CAMP IS FULL: Art Camp (ages 9-11) - June 18-21, 2018
Come dressed to get messy! Did you know the Marine Corps has had an art program since WWII? Learn from real Marine Corps artists in this hands-on camp. Painting, drawing, and more will be explored using a variety of fun techniques and mediums.
CAMP IS FULL: Engineering (STEM) Camp (ages 9-11) - June 25-28, 2018
Marines use engineering skills every day as part of the land, air, and sea mission. Learn about flight, buoyancy, and the science behind every Marine’s job. This camp involves fun and interactive hands-on activities utilizing critical thinking skills.
CAMP IS FULL: Girls Rock History Camp (ages 7-10) - July 23-26, 2018
Spend the week with Felicity, Molly, Addy, and all their friends while you take a journey through Marine Corps history from 1775 to today. Explore STEM, history, art, games, hands-on activities, and more. Dolls welcome but are not required for attendance.
CAMP IS FULL: Semper Fun Camp (ages 7-9) - July 30-Aug 2, 2018
Take a journey through Marine Corps history from 1775 to today. Games, hands-on activities, special guest presenters, crafts, STEM and more. This camp is great for children who like variety and history.
