Thank you for your interest in the National Museum of the Marine Corps Summer Camp program. Campers will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. If you have multiple children participating, each child being registered MUST have a separate registration form.

Summer camps are back at the National Museum of the Marine Corps! The Museum's Education team is hosting five summer camps programs in 2022: Grades 4-6: Marine Corps Tactics Camp June 21-23: 0900-1300 daily June 28-30: 0900-1300 daily Join the National Museum of the Marine Corps’ Education Department on a three-day adventure through the history of Marine Corps tactics! In this summer camp program, participants will experience what it was like to be a Marine during the Revolutionary War period, during World War I, and in modern times! It will feature lessons on the lifestyle of each era, the events of each era, and the military tactics employed by the United States Marine Corps during the corresponding conflicts through a blend of in-gallery instruction and hands on activities! Grades 7-9: Marine Corps Tactics and Leadership Camp July 12-14: 0900-1300 daily Join the National Museum of the Marine Corps’ Education Department on a three-day adventure through the history of Marine Corps tactics! In this summer camp program, participants will experience what it was like to be a Marine during the Revolutionary War period, during World War I, and in modern times! It will feature lessons on the lifestyle of each era, the events of each era, and the military tactics employed by the United States Marine Corps during the corresponding conflicts through a blend of in-gallery instruction and hands on activities! Furthermore, this camp will put an emphasis on Marine Corps leadership traits and principles. Grades 4-6: Land, Sea, and Air Camp July 19-21: 0900-1300 daily July 26-28: 0900-1300 daily Join the National Museum of the Marine Corps’ Education Department for a three-day camp that focuses on the three environments that Marines are active in: The land, the sea, and the air! During this STEM-focused camp, participants will learn about the vehicles Marines use to operate on the land, at sea, and in the air, will learn about the scientific principles that allow those vehicles to function, and will participate in hands-on activities to strengthen their understanding of scientific principles. |
