NMMC Summer Camp 2025
All Summer Camp programs are free of charge. Registration for each camp is capped to 30 students. If you register for more than one camp, your first registration will be considered your priority choice and subsequent choices will default to our waitlist until registration closes.
USMC "Boot Camp"
Grades: Rising 4th through Rising 6th: 9am to 3pm
Session 1: June 16 - 19, 2025
Session 2: June 23 - 26, 2025
Join the National Museum of the Marine Corps' Education Department for a 4-day camp focused on teaching Marine Corps Leadership principles through a simulated boot camp experience. While participants WILL NOT be subjected to the normal rigors of a boot camp or instruction by a drill instructor, participants WILL complete a variety of team building activities meant to emphasize Marine Corps leadership traits and foster teamwork. Outdoor obstacle courses and games are a part of this camp, so please dress your camper appropriately.
USMC "Mechanized Warfare" Camp
Grades: Rising 5th through Rising 7th: 9am to 3pm
July 7 - 10, 2025
Grades: Rising 8th through Rising 10th: 9am to 3pm
July 14 - 17, 2025
Join the National Museum of the Marine Corps' Education Department for a 4-day STEM camp focused on the evolution of Marine Corps technology as well as how changes to technology affected the Marine Corps as a whole. Participants will learn about the rise of various vehicular platforms as well as how different jobs within the Marine Corps used different vehicles and equipment. Participants will also apply different STEM principles across a variety of activities meant to simulate what they learn about. Outdoor activities are a core part of this camp, so please dress your camper accordingly.
The Marine Corps and Pop Culture
Grades: Rising 6th through Rising 9th: 9am to 3pm

August 4 - 7, 2025
Join the National Museum of the Marine Corps' Education Department for a 4-day camp focused on highlighting the relationship between the Marine Corps and pop culture across the ages. From Marine Corps produced icons and imagery to representations of the Marine Corps in civilian media, this camp aims to highlight the relationship between the Marine Corps and daily lives. Activities include various art-themed projects as well as traditional teambuilding activities.
