MAY 11th MRE COOK-OFF INSTRUCTIONS:

• Check-in by 12:00 pm
• Cooking starts at 12:30 pm
• Judging starts at 1:00 pm
• Contestants will make a main dish and a dessert using 2 MREs pulled from a box.
• There will be a mystery fresh ingredient given to each contestant at the start of the competition.

GUIDELINES:

• Contestants are allowed to bring a gallon-size ziploc bag of ingredients.  Basically, you can bring whatever you can fit in a cargo pocket while out in the field! (Salt, pepper, garlic powder, hot sauce, etc.   NO FRESH INGREDIENTS.)
  
• The Museum will provide MREs, a mystery ingredient, a sterno heater, canteen cup for cooking, plastic ware, plastic cups, paper plates.
  
• Contestants can bring an apron.
  

Awards will be given for Adult and Youth contestant 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners!
