Drawing for Marines: An Hour with Maximilian Uriarte, creator of Terminal Lance

The National Museum of the Marine Corps is excited to host a live talk, drawing demonstration, and Q&A session by the creator of the popular comic strip Terminal Lance, Maximilian Uriarte. This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC but SPACE IS LIMITED and REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. The event will take place in the Museum's Scuttlebutt Theater on TUESDAY, JUNE 16 at 1200 and will last approximately one hour. Infantry Marine and Iraq War Veteran Maximilian Uriarte enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2006 at the age of nineteen and served for four years. During his first deployment in Iraq in 2007, he served as an MRAP turret gunner and a dismounted infantryman of India Company's Jump platoon in the Zaidon region southeast of Fallujah. He deployed in Iraq again in 2009 as a billeted combat photographer and combat artist. In 2010, while still on active duty, Uriarte created the popular comic strip Terminal Lance. Maximilian Uriarte lives in California.
