Marine Corps Student Art Competition
Presenting our 2019 1st Annual Student Art Competition Winners!
The National Museum of the Marine Corps' (NMMC) 1st Annual National Student Art Competition launched in October 2019. In our inaugural competition, students were challenged to create 2D artwork that reflects what Marines mean by "Semper Fidelis," the motto of the Corps. From the entries, judges selected the top three winners in each age group and a "Best of Show." Thanks to the generosity of the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, winners were awarded a certificate and cash prizes.
The winners' artwork will also be on display in the Museum's Leatherneck Gallery from November 1, 2019 through January 1, 2020.
In the fall of 2020, NMMC will announce the opening of the 2nd Annual National Student Art Competition. Please check back for more details!
