On Sunday, September 8th 2024 the National Museum of the Marine Corps invites all K-12 teachers to bring their families to the Museum and learn about how Museum educational offerings can enrich the classroom experience. Visiting teachers can speak with the Museum's teachers-in-residence to learn about travelling trunk programs, in-person education specialists to learn about field trip-enriching activities, and distance learning education specialists to learn about both live and pre-recorded (synchronous and asynchronous) virtual programming. This event is free and visiting teachers are encouraged to explore the museum with their families and guests after speaking with staff.
