May 2005: Photos and updates The exterior concrete wall for the exhibit gallery is nearing completion and work on the structure including steel columns, beams and roof decking is underway. The last major entry plaza wall is started. Utility work resumed in the North parking lot; and the earthwork subcontractor began backfilling against the building. Material for the skylight system was delivered and sorted on site.

April 2005: Photos and updates The major structural steel beams were set for the Central Gallery Atrium. The Museum is now highly visible along I-95. Concrete floor slabs were cast in the Gift Shop, Vietnam and Korea galleries, and Kitchen on the second deck. The Mason has begun erecting block walls at the rear of the Mechanical area. The chillers, boilers and electrical switchgear were delivered. Ductwork installation started.
